There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Anybody ridden the Branson, Mo. area??

Ok guys and gals, maybe planning a trip to Branson, Mo. sometime in the future. What kind of scenic tours/rides are there to do in that area?? Probably will have a Slingshot couple, Harley couple, and Wing couple tagging along. Any shows in Branson you would recommend? Thanks in advance for any replies. Mac:doorag:

Mac, That's just south of the Spyderfest / Spyder's in the Ozarks area and they normally post many planned rides that you should take, but having spent a few weeks down there there's too many to get in all in a month.
Check out last fall's Spyder's in the Ozarks threads
There's a ozarkrides.com web site with many, my favorite was the ride from Lamonster's through Sparta (NE of Branson) down 125 to Cty H, Cty H down to 160, and on down to Peels Ferry, crossing into AR, then around the Bull Shoals area and back ending at Lambert's Cafe for dinner. AWESOME ride! You can visit Lamonster's shop in Nixa, he'll probably have many great rides mapped out.

Thanks for the info. I'll check the links and see what I can work up. I just wanted to know if there was two or three routes that were preferred rides over others. Again thanks!! Mac:2thumbs:

Branson

A lot of pretty country down there for riding. Also Northern Arkansas centered around Harrison AR. https://www.arkansas.com/motorcycling/
This area is spectacularly beautiful and just south of Branson. Make sure you go to the 5 and dime in Branson to see all the things that were available when we were kids. As far as shows, they often have packages you can get. The tourist center will set you up and make recommendations. They are very nice. The small hotel we were in had a concierge desk (a lot of them do) and we said, "look we want to go to the shows that the 80 year olds aren't going to". He laughed and recommended some great shows. Start at the tourist center!

You might want to either download or get a copy of the Arkansas motorcycle guide located HERE .

When I was there for Spyders in the Ozarks last year the couple I rode with had one and I also picked one up at a stop along the route. We went to Eureka Springs from Springfield and came back thru Branson via some nice roads by following some the maps in this guide. On my next visit I want to go to Peels Ferry which should be a nice ride.

As the previous poster noted it is worth a trip to Lamberts on any day.

We are in Branson this week and we enjoyed seeing the Dublin Irish Tenors with the Celtic Ladies...!
Great show and was 2 hours long.

For a ride I'd suggest the Pig Trail in Arkansas if you have the time. I will add Texas Tenors and Six to the list of shows to see.

Thanks to all. I went on the Branson site and found quite a few shows that would interest us and the group we are traveling with. Will use the links provided and hope to route a couple of rides. Have been to Arkansas when we rode our GW, and it is beautiful country. Thanks again for the replies. Mac:2thumbs:

Get the Arkansas Motorcycle Guide per an earlier post. Head South and to some of the Arkansas scenic roads just South of the Missouri border.

And, the shows in Branson are a real bargain compared to Vegas. When we get down there, we are going to hit the Branson strip at least once a month.
