• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any tips on adjusting those little trunk lid latch posts??

I'm trying to adjust the trunk lid latch posts on my 21 RTL. We really had to give the lid a firm push to get it to latch. I have the taillight piece removed so I have access, loosen the posts, and I can get them to a place where the lid latched, unlatches, and locks very well. Problem is that as soon as I tighten the posts down, they move, and I am left with an adjustment that is worse than when I started.

So I guess I'm looking for a tip or two, especially about holding those posts in place ... or is it just a guessing game?

TIA

I seem to remember a video from Shawn, or Lamonster on that subject, I'll see if I can find it!

Thank you all. I think I did watch the video from Shaun a while ago ... but IIRC he doesnt address them moving while tightening...
I'm going to watch them again.
Thanks for the reminder
