• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any Spyder Ryders in West Texas?

I'm moving back home to Midland, TX. Anyone in that area? I have a daughter and family in Austin, another daughter and family in Amarillo, and my Dad lives in Dallas.

Little checking..

could look up city by city but hey there are 765 members listed for TX and probably many non members as well. You can go to the home page upper left and check with the groups and clubs for those areas as well. Dealers are another good source and many have their own rydes...

Hill country

Kevin,
search on Texas Hill country rally. Boerne, TX. We are going this year, as well. Hope to see you there! Joe

Kevin we will miss having a personal nurse at HOW and Red Rock. I hope we see you somewhere in our travels. Best of luck.

I have a spyder and will travel.......;). I hope to make it for the weekend at the Hill Country Rally. I will have to see what time I have available when I get down to Midland.

Come on down to the Texas Trike Reunion in Kerrville, TX. We meet April 20-22. See post under events. George

a little north of you

I am a little north of you in the Panhandle but have a brother in Big Spring. I may occasionally get down yourway on the Spyder if/when my wife feels like riding. Otherwise I normally ride one of the two-wheelers in the stable.

On another note; I recently had the displeasure of having to deal with a dealer in the Dallas area who had lost a key when the previous owner had his (now mine) RT Limited in their shop. Since the RT is now under new ownership, they initially felt they had been absolved of any responsibility for replacing the lost key. Anyway, that's a whole 'nuther debate entirely. They claimed a new owner from Odessa or that area called them saying he had a key that would not work. The sales rep "thinks" he may have the key for my Spyder but is not sure. Long story shortened, would that have been you or maybe someone you know in your area? The rep. said the guy down there is a truck driver and very difficult to make contact with.

Any help in recovering that key would be greatly appreciated as new keys and programming seem to be more valuable than gold.

thanks.

will do! I just sent a request to join that group in hopes of posing the same question about the lost key as well as finding new riding partners. see you on the road some time!

yessir, thank you. I have already posted an intro and my question. Although I already have a new key blank on the way (hopefully), recovering the original would be a good thing too.
