Any interest in Nascar Fantasy Racing

Anybody interested in participating in a Nascar Fantasy Racing league.

I've been playing with guys from another board for a few years, but so far this year, we could use more players.

If anybody is interested, post here and I give the coordinate to participate.

We play on Yahoo and a Yahoo login (free) is required. We only play for bragging rights.

Obviously, you're too late for today's race, don't know if you can still join for future ones, you can always try.

First thing is to create a Yahoo login if you do not already have one then go to the link provided in my first post.

Then create a team and give it a name.

At that point, you'll have the option of joining a group, choose the private group option and when prompted enter the group ID of 5869 with a password of password. You should then see that you are now a member of the group Barney Hall League

There is currently 8 teams in the group.

My team is JP Racing Inc

Then you have to select your drivers for the next race, four drivers per race from three lists, A B & C.

A are the 9 best drivers. (such as Johnson, Earnhardt, Harvick etc)
B are the mid pack drivers
C are the back runners or rookies

Those are Yahoo's rating and cannot be changed.

You have to pick 1 driver from A, 2 drivers from B and 1 driver from C.

You also have to pick 4 alternates.

You can only pick a given driver 9 times for the whole season.

As the season progress, for each race, you'll see the deadline for making your selection, usually by midnight of the Thursday before the weekend race, it varies if the race is on Saturday evening.

You can switch between your primary and alternate drivers until shortly before the race.

There's some online help with the rules.
