Any ideas on Replacing Heated Grips with Non-heated Grips? 2012 RT

My 2012 RT SE5 has heated grips. The grips themselves are worn down and "slick" from age and use. I want to replace the grips, but NOT with heated ones. I don't want to have to take a ton of tupperware off and remove the whole grip heating wiring harness, etc, I just want to change my grips for new ones. The current grips have wires connected/embedded to the inside of them, so it's not just a case of "slip off the old, slip on the new". I don't care about the heat function, but my arthritic hands would appreciate a larger and softer grip surface. Any ideas?

Try a set of Grip Puppies. They slide right over the old grips and are larger and softer. They would also allow you to retain your heated grips. They sell for about $20 bucks on Amazon; Lamonster has them for $14.

Grip Puppies are good, but I really like these....

Grip Buddies (don't know which one came first) but these really did a great job of making the grip thicker for my hands and they wrap around rather than slide over. I like the texture "grid" feel of the surface.

I'll second the Grip Buddies in the Lite version. Improved grip, yet the heat still comes through nicely.
