• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any Gear Heads in CT

I was wondering if there are any gear heads in CT who could give a lesson or pointers on doing regular maintenance like oil changes. I'm a hands on learner so the instructions don't help me out. I want to cut down on the expensive dealer visits, they are great but I want to do some things myself. Thanks guys

:agree: ..... but if you can't find anyone ..... there are lots of video's here on Spyderlovers or on U-Tube from Pro's like Shawn Smoak ....... Mike

You have to watch video's- Read the manual- And Most important take of the Tupperware a few times yourself and before you know it you will be doing your own maintenance. There is NO easy route.

Anytime Dan. Whatever you need

I'd like to see best ways to remove the plastic without breaking clips. Kinda scary to do for first timer. Also I wish I could join you on ride tomorrow but can't visiting all the family. Do you have week days off?

You seem to have an RT and this is the 1st Step -getting the mirror off!
After that your owners manual tells you how to do each piece and if you want to write down how many screws for each piece and even do a little drawing if you want to. It really is just doing it a few times and you will be a Pro!!!

Update I have just performed my first oil change and a headlight repair...apparently the previous owner was nice enough to instal hid lights and a connection had juat came loose. I am astonished how much work it took. This engineers are sadist i think. But everything went well. Striped the 6mm drain plug a little and replaced it with a new one. Thanks for all the help and tips everyone.
