• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any do's or don'ts to detailing my 2009 SM5?

It's a nice day here in Albuquerque. I'm wanting to detail my Spyder. Is there anything I need to know?I'm thinking of using the same car wash solution that I use for my cars.

I just use water to loosen up the dirt and bugs. Then XPS cleaner and polish on the painted surfaces to wipe it down and give it that shine. Mother's black on black on the black plastic, and Plexus on all the clear plastic and windshield. It comes in showroom condition every time. Promise.

You will get as many opinions on this subject as you will on gas octane or the best oil. The only hard, fast rule is that the Spyder doesn't like high pressure spray, especially on the controls. Be careful of bare plastic parts...no ammonia based procts or anything theat leaves a white residue.
