• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any difference on the stock seats?

Between 2010 and the 2013 RT's, is there a difference in the material, size, quality? The reason I am asking is because I am in the process of trading up, and since I have the Utopia backrest, I don't know if to swap seats or go ahead and leave the new one and get another backrest?:dontknow:

Eric, it seems to be the same. As you know I had the 2010 RT-S and now have the 2013. I didn't see any difference except that my 2010 was a premier edition and was PE0004. As you know that was sewn onto the seat. Other than that everything appears to be the same. Additionally, Corbin didn't have to make any changes in their mold for my 2013.

Hope this helps.

Chris

It wouldn't hurt to give the folks at Utopia a call to see if they've made any changes to accomodate the new model year...

Thanks Chris! When I sat on the new 2013, it seemed that I was sitting a little higher than the 2010. But that could have been that the windshield is different or that being a brand new seat, it wasn't "countoured" to my gluteus...;)

True... dealer is saying that the seats are virtually the same except that mine has faded a little in color.:opps:

The 2010 model RTs had that 27", "barn door" windshield...
It's been shortened to 25"; that may very well have affected your perception!

UPDATE!!!

The dealer swapped seats so that the Utopia doesn't need to be pulled out of the old seat and leave a tear on it. I went yesterday to see it, and we noticed that there is almost an inch gap between the "glove compartment" and the front of the seat. Apperantly either the seat is shorter, or the seat's pivot point has been pushed back.
