• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anti Vib Work

Got the Rt all apart and waiting for handle bar to come back from painter. Decided this was a good time to cut/grind clearance for the engine support rod which causes everyone vibration. As you can see in the photos, I don't have much room in my basement garage for this project but it works. Other photo shows the nut that WAS rubbing on the frame.

Looks like you and I have the same amount of space! hahahaha... Our home was built in 1934... I need far better lighting though. yours seems perfect in that pic...:2thumbs:

I knew that mine had the problem as soon as I brought mine home, and when I saw the vibration thread here it confirmed it in my mind. The hole that the bolt goes through (as I understand it) is elongated, and perhaps due to tolerance differences some (if positioned all the way to the top of the hole) may actually not have interference. Many though seem to have it. My dealership was nice enough to fix this under warranty work for me.

You are correct, the hole this bolt goes through is sloted. I ground clearance on my bracket and raised the bolt to the top of the slot. Mine was all the way to the bottom and vibrated like crazy. Sounded like a rod knocking under heavy acceleration.
