• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I purchased a short antenna and am having trouble getting the stock antenna out. I have a long nosed vise grips but it is so tight i can't get it to loosen. Need some suggestions from those of you that may have ran into the same problem.

Thanks
Larry

some have put a long socket over the antenna down onto the both head and used vise grips to get it unloose that way.

Antenna removal

Get you a socket that is the correct size and slide it down over the antenna with the antenna sticking thru the hole in the socket! a deep well socket works best! Then get a wrench to fit the socket, and you can get it off easy!

Found a cheap 7mm ¼ inch socket drill the inside to fit over antenna and soldered a wrench to outside and it worked perfectly.U don't need the wrench but it's in the tool box for anybody to use.
