• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Another Survey

This one is pretty in depth and asks a lot of questions about satisfaction and also about possible factory options. The prices they had for the options were pretty crazy though.

Interested in finding out about the survey--they did not send me one. I guess I point out to many things--:roflblack:

One thing I found funny was it asked how many miles you ride in a year and it wouldn't accept anything over 9,999 miles!

Yep, I thought that was pretty funny, too. I tried several ways to put in a larger number but nothing worked. Also, they asked about gas mileage and wanted you to show the number of gallons per 100 miles - how weird is that? So I tried to put in 3.4 which would be about right for mileage of 28 - 30 MPG. It told me I had too many decimal points. I guess one was too many. I had to either put in 3 gallons which was a bit optimistic from my experience or 4 gallons which is way pessimistic. So I put in 3 and they can think I get better mileage than I actually do.

Is this one the postcard with the pin number required ? If it is , where is it on the website they send you to ? I couldn't find it anywhere in the 33k plus possibles it brings up .

I did mine today. I had the same problem with total miles and gallons per 100. I tried different numbers for miles per year when I put 0 it accepted it. Apparently nobody drives high mileage on a motorcycle. I wonder who is doing this survey? :dontknow:

The gas mileage question was pretty funny. The question I think said how many miles per gallon do you get then they give you that silly blank gallons / 100.

Exwinger this is a survey that requires a PIN from the postcard. I'm not sure what it is that you couldn't locate. The survey itself or these particular questons?

I can't find the survey itself no matter what I type in. Google brings up a kazillion different sites but nothing about this survey that I can find.

With questions about lead times for customization and costs for new features, is it our friends at BRP collecting possibilities for 2013?

I never got a card, so I guess they have saved me the effort of throwing it away. I am not one for surveys. That is just another way of giving out information for more surveys, etc.

I emailed the company ( wasn't canam ) and they sent me a link. My survey was totally different than what you guys described...no mpg or anything , just dealt with cycle brands.I'll still take the $500 though....LOL
