• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Another MPG record this week

Went for a 235 mile ride today, hit 1050 miles on my new 2014 RT-SE5. As posted earlier this week I never got above 25 MPG on my 2011 even after 9,000 miles. Today the light came on at 190 miles, stopped for fuel at 220 and it took 6.1 gallons. This comes out to about 36 MPG, WOW!! I never expected this much of an increase even though a lot of folks say they got 30-34 MPG on their pre 2014 spiders. By the way, I used Eco Mode for about 5 minutes when I first got the bike, I personally will never use it again. The trip today was all back roads in Florida averaging about 62 MPH. Lastly, it was over 80 degrees today, absolutely NO heat from the bike, the twin radiators and reversing fans are really doing their job!!

Don't you just love the MPG on the 2014's? :agree: the ECO mode is not for me either.

The Eco mode button will never be pushed on my RT. Tried it on the test Spyder and hated it. 36 mpg is very doable at 62 mph and you might even see better mileage as you break in the machine further.
