• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Another fix for the cowl issue with rubber tabs breaking

There is another solution...quite easy...for the issue of the rubber tabs breaking on the underside of the cowl. Based on the law of physics, you do not need to strap velcro to the underside of the bike...you can attach the seat directly...this is because it is not the air that gets underneath that lifts the cowl off but rather the negative pressure above that creates a vacuum effect...so, the following pics show a velcro approach that works great. You want to put the soft velcro on the seat and sitting on it is not an issue...if you have the cowl on, nobody is sitting on it anyway...
