• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Before

Took the F3 down to Springfield last week to trade in on a new F3T. Have to say I love the better rear suspension, and I love the 1330 motor in these Spyders. Love the sound, the power, and the smoothness! So, here's the new Toothless!

Not much convincing envolved in this one...congrats on the new ryde, very sweeet looking one...:2thumbs:

Those bags came off the 2008 HD Night Rod Special (v-rod). Very hard to find anymore as they have been discontinued. They hold quite a bit, are waterproof, and lockable.
How did you mount them. And any more pics and do you have a name or brand or anything.

Thx

I was extremely lucky that Lamont was willing and able to fabricate a very clean mounting system on the morning that I picked up the bike. I had been studying the bike and how to mount the bags, even went to a dealer before I ever rode one, to see what the distance was between the bolts on the F3 grab rail compared to the mounting holes on the inside of the bags. They were at most an inch apart. Lamont did the rest when I got down there. I will have to see if I have any more pictures of how it was mounted but it was the slickest mounting I ever saw. HD dealers don't carry them anymore (although I haven't checked with all of them, obviously) but you can sometimes find them on E--bay or on the v-rod forum (1130cc.com) in the for sale section. The mounting on the v-rod was a lot more complicated!

Very pretty bike. Now to see it in person. Lucky you. Tomahawk is next weekend, maybe see you there.

Wish I could go! Have a CE conference on Sat and might try to join up the Road Warrior group in Johnson Creek Sunday morning and ride part of the day with them. Will see you soon, though, at some point. Have a great time up at Tomahawk!
