• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

As some of you know I was going to add a 1" riser to my Spyder. Well I took it all apart and noticed the riser block I purchased is the same as the one as I just took off. :gaah:

If someone has put a riser block on and has the stock one, could you please measure it like I did (pic below) and let me know what the measurement is on the stock hub. Or measure a 1" riser and tell me that measuement is the same as the pictures below.

I'm not sure if I just wasted my time and money on a part I already had on my Spyder ??? I do not think I was sent the wrong part because it fits in the original packaging perfect. I might just have a 1" riser for sale today. :dontknow:

I sent coz my stock riser so he could go back to stock. You had the BRP 1" riser already on your Spyder when you bought it. Here is a picture of a stock riser.

Unless you had it installed, you wouldn't know.

Your right !!! I bought my Spyder pre-loved and I thought the only thing they did to her was add a frunk liner. I guess I was wrong. I feel better now, thanks.

I hope these pictures on this thread will help future Spyder owners avoid this same mistake I made.

A good way to tell if you have had the 1in. riser installed is by looking at a stock one lets say at a dealer. When I first got mine installed I thought at first that they forgot [part of my deal when I bought it] but once you look at a stock one its obvious.

You know what Yogi once said ; You can observe a lot just by looking.:yikes::roflblack:

arntufun,

Not to steal your thread, but you do know your avatar is still missing? I mention this b/c every now and then mine reappears from my cache (on my screen only).

I know it's missing. No matter how much I resize it, it still will not load. :gaah: I think Lamont said in another thread, the problem is being addressed so I'm still waiting for the fix.:pray::pray:

Instead of using bread crumbs.
I just follow the oil drops to find my way home, It's more reliable than a GPS.:roflblack:
