Andiamo Benefit Ride 2014

Hey Jersey Spydies;

Last year a few asked me to let them know about the next Andiamo Benefit Bike Ride up here in North East Jersey. The ride is Sunday Sept 7th in Haworth, NJ (Bergen County). Last year they said there was a 1000 bikes or more. Personally I don't think it was that high but it was easily in the several hundred range. It's a nice ride that has a full police escort the entire way. Including closing the George Washington Bridge in both directions for us. At the end they have food, drinks (beer) and a live band at the restaurant.

You don't have to pre-register so it nice that you can check the weather first. Check out the website for information. www.andiamorestaurant.net for more information

Andiamo route

What's the route for this?

The route last year travelled from the restaurant east to the Palisade Interstate south to the Geo Washington Bridge, looped over & back across the bridge then out Rte 4 West to 208 North to 287 North across to NY Thruway, Thruway to Palisade Interstate South looping back to restaurant through some local streets. Police escort at every intersection.

We are coming up for this. We are riding up Saturday late afternoon and staying at the Hyatt a few miles away. Ride and enjoy Sunday, stay Sunday night and ride back to south jersey/Delaware on Monday.
