• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Drove for about 8 hrs. from Ontario Canada in 48 F temps .Arrived in Lake George about 2 and it started to rain . Headed out to Fort Ann to see the Magic Man (ESI) in the pouring rain get there and there is the trailer all set up! But closed and no one around it's only 3:45 pm sure it's raining but they work under cover and I only wanted to buy product ! Oh well ! Thursday morning hope to hook up with Rnet for the Spyder ride into Vermont . But guess what calling for thunder storms all day ! Great ! Oh well we came to ride rain or not. Friday is supposed to be the good day and we have a boat tour booked and guess what rain on Saturday.

Rain In Upper State NY in June?

I feel your pain with the rain at Americade. The last few years I went to Lake George there were severe thunderstorms rolling through the hills every afternoon. I really miss not going this year on the Spyder, but the wife was quick to remind me of how unpleasant it was to camp and ride in the pouring rain and she reinforced her message by reminding me that we are off to Chicago in a few weeks. :lecturef_smilie:

Hope you are having a great time riding on those wonderful roads in the Adirondacks. I am envious.

Just got this from Magic Man :yikes:

New York state gets hit with a lot of storms and we JUST had a hour of tornado warnings in CT but as I watch on internet radar they always seem to go to each side of my town and usually miss us!:dontknow:

Makes you really want to get on your bike and go buy something?:dontknow:

That was one of three storms that hit today. The third we we able to get out of there before it got nasty again!

Rain + motorcycle rally = very low attendance!

:2thumbs: Had a good ride with 10 :spyder2: in total. Overcast most of the day. Stopped for lunch at about 1 just in time as it poured buckets while we chowed down. Headed out to see some locks and got caught in the pouring rain. We had stopped to put on rain gear and a group of Harleys about 8 passed us,then about 10 mins. Latter we pass them all huddled under cover at a gas station while we plowed on . All in all met some old friends and made some new ones as well . The roads where great and hats of to Rnet for putting together this event.

Yes he did a good job, the food at the SIRLOIN SALOON WAS EXCELLENT it is located in Manchester, VT:2thumbs:
