Pics from the Bennington Vermont tour
It was great meeting everyone on our tour from Hudson Falls NY to Bennington and Manchester Vermont. Rnet did well in organizing this tour. The weather could have been better, but all in all it was a fun ride nevertheless. Some of you I've met on previous rides, but I made new friends as well. I hope we can all get together again for future rides. I took some photos on this ride that I'd like to share. I will add new pics to this post as I get them uploaded. Enjoy!
We gathered at Sally's Hen House parking lot early morning on Thursday.
We rode south to Bennington and viewed some covered bridges in the area.
We then headed out to the Bennington monument. This is Vermont's tallest standing structure at over 300 ft tall.
On the grounds of the Bennington monumet, there was a moose that I think must have visited Tatt2r.
Inside the monument at the base floor hangs General Burgoyne's cook kettle. There are some neat things to look at throughout the monumet as well.
