• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Alternative riding plans

One of the groups I usually ride with has canceled riding for the rest of this season. Another group will continue riding with an adjusted schedule. We will continue riding but not to our "usual" lunch places. Instead, we are going to pack our own meals and ride to open-air parks where we can enjoy our cold fried chicken, etc & maintain our social distancing. As long as I am riding solo and keeping my distance I don't think I can spread or contract a virus from others. Life goes on..... Jim

We were also thinking of the picnic route. Have not done that in many years. Thanks for the suggestion.

The group I ride with has just cancelled it's big rally scheduled for June. We used to do a pot luck lunch ride, but haven't in year. Maybe it is time to revive that idea. But don't get too close!

You won't spread or pick up as long as you don't touch the same surfaces an infected person has. And that is a big unknown! I think I would take a small table cloth and put it on the table before I set my lunch down. Extreme, maybe. Safe, for sure!
