• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Akrapovic sport touring?

Considering on upgrading the exhaust on my 2012 RT LTD. Wanting to know if this is possible straight out the box or will I need additional hardware to complete the installation?

easy! Just unbolt old & replace with new. Just have to be careful with bolt heads & springs. also pay close attention to how bolts are on old one. If not put on correct can cause leak. Also helps if you spray liquid wrench on ahead of time

Easy change. For deeper sound remove baffles prior to install, easy to remove or replace baffles when the muffler is off the bike. Nice mellow sound while not being to loud. Torque seems to increase at lower rpms with this mod.

Just an FYI on taking out the baffles. I just bought a new 2013 ST limited and I have the sport silencer..installed at the dealer. I was able to take ONE of the baffles out with it on the bike. BUT..turns out mine have spot welds on the bolts holding the baffles! The upper spot weld broke off while unbolting (you can use an allen wrench or 8mm socket)..but the bottom one must have a bigger tack weld on it...it aint moving. take a look inside the pipe before you try to remove them.

also as an FYI. Watch rear parking brake cable while doing removal & new install. Cable has a tendency to come off front actuator & if not careful can mess up parking brake.

I removed both baffles on mine. Then I keep the baffles in my trunk. They are easy to insert and remove without bothering with the screws. I sometimes go with both baffles in, one baffle in, and no baffles in. It just depends on how much rumble I feel like producing today. That's because, sometimes you feel like a nut and sometimes you don't! :p
