• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Air shocks

Desert Spyder

A buddy of mine (a PE owner) spotted a Spyder at a San Bernardino dealership that had air shocks on it. The switch was somewhere on the dash. This sounds like a Lamontster upgrade. Does this sound like a good idea. No offense Lamont.

Actually, you're right. Lamont had air shocks (at least on the rear) about a year ago. I don't remember what happened exactly but they (it) failed.

My buddy stated all 3 shocks were in on the action. Not sure if I'm crazy about this idea.

On a side note, you Ryders who tow a trailer, how is the braking action?

Is the sensor in the seat activated?

The seat switch is not activated by the trailer being towed. You must have weight on the rear seat (35+ pounds) to activate it.

As far as how the brakes work while pulling the trailer, I think they work just fine. The added weight of the trailer under braking was the fix for my squeaking brake pads. Seems the extra effort on the system is just enough to keep the pads cleaned off properly.
