• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Air shock?

WellsboroSpyder

Just wondering about adjustment of rear shock. When riding two up on a bumpy road, I think more air so spyder doesn't bottom out. A friend says less air so ride is softer. Which way for a more comfortable ride for passenger?

So what empirical evidence does your friend have that proves less air in a Spyder with two up won't bottom out in a large road dip or over a real crappy road surface?

More air in the airbag helps maintain the higher ride height you've set with the system, altho it might make the ride a little firmer too!! But if you are worried about bottoming out, more air in that bag helps stop that. ;)

Just asked initially because I prefer a firm ride solo and have pressure all the way up. That said, I have still bottomed it out on a real hard dip. With my bride aboard, she a lithe 125, the suspension again full up the ride is very smooth for us with a total probably 320 lb riders and junk on day rides and 350 lb max if we're fully loaded for a weekend trip.
