• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have a 2014 RT-S. I think my air compressure is getting noisy. Works well just noisy. Also looses all tank pressure in about 30-40 minutes after shut down. I think I got a leak in the air tank?? How long should the system hold pressure after shut down??

I know the shock will bleed down SOME. Most days my compressor will
run at least a little every start up. As far as "noise" goes. Mine is louder
some days than others. I think it depends on the environment we're in ?
Kind of like the quieter place I am the louder the pump seems.

Identical symptoms to what I had last year. When the system is right, it can hold some air pressure all winter. When the system has a leak, that little compressor overheats. You know the normal sounds of your bike, so if you think it's making excessive noise, I'm afraid that failure is eminent. If you have factory warranty left, I would get it to the shop ASAP. If it doesn't hold air, then you can't even operate the system manually, and that makes for a real hard ride for a passenger, with the shock bottoming out easier.

In my case, there was no leakage from any tubing or fittings. It turned out that the check valve - which is on the outlet fitting of the compressor - just got fouled with bits of compressor wear dirt and would no longer seal. That allowed air to escape the system back through the compressor. And it only took about 30 minutes. I would recommend replacing that when they replace your compressor since it doesn't come with it through the BRP parts system. It's a separate part number and only abut 25 bucks. The compressor however, is around 300 bucks, if memory serves. If you have an extended warranty, this work might be covered if your factory warranty is expired. Some will and some don't. Mine didn't. Good Luck with it.

It should not leak that fast. If your leaking air out of the bag that fast it will cause the compressor to run a lot and wears it out fast!

My air bag will stay at pressure for days if not weeks!
