Air bag pressure

Evening all,

I have a '14 base RT with 3700 miles. Riding double the rear suspension bottoms out occasionally. I am assuming that I need to add air to the rear suspension. Checked it after a ride today and pressure was at 30 lbs. Anyone know what the maximum pressure would be?

There should be a chart on a label close to the valve used to charge the system..... Set accordingly. I used to run 70 psig as a base pressure. I weigh about 240#

The max suggested on the '13 and up is 50lbs. It was higher for earlier models. There is a sticker under the seat that tells you the max pressure.

:banghead: MagDave has a 2013 so his info is not correct..............I have a 2014 Basic RT and the sticker says it maxes at 85 lbs ..........you can check yourself for various weight settings .....the sticker is right next to the " Schrader valve " under the seat...............:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:..........Mike :yes:

I have the rs
But still wanted an accurate measurement so i checked best two up for us
Around 63#
I weigh 217.wife 130

A friend told me how much the handling & quality of ride was connected
He was right 5# makes a big diff in cornering etc
So once I found spot i loved i wrote it down

The gauge is just a few bars on screen

I asked 2 different dealers why my sticker said the pressure max was so low and that it conflicted with the owners manual. They both told me go by the sticker. I may ignore it now. I did wonder why mine said 55lbs max. :thumbup:
