Aftermarket HID foglight problems

:helpsmilie::helpsmilie:I installed a set of aftermarket HID bulbs, from HIDSquad, 8000k ones, in my Spyder a few weeks ago and since the install, unless I am up on the throttle, the bike shuts down when I turn them on. I'm thinking its too much of an amp draw with the HID headlights too. The dash starts scrolling with ABS, VSS, and GPS failure. Turn it off, pull the key and walk away for a while and all is back to normal. I should have bought NMN lights, which I am ordering tomorrow, but I won these in a raffle and had to try them out. Anyone else have issues like this. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks, Dave

I'd check my battery cables and grounds for tightness.......

Thanks, Just checked cables and ground, all tight. I can put the regular bulbs back in the foglights and they work just fine.

i'd take them out return them and order NMN hid's ... those lights draw a lot of power and magicman knows where it's at when it comes to lighting ...:2thumbs:

I have a bunch of thier LED's on the Spyder now and have had no problems with them at all. Just met Evan and the gang on Friday at Daytona. Great bunch of people. I planned on getting thier HID's for the fogs but these were a prize i won so I had to try them out....Will I ever learn? LOL
