• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

aftermarket CENTRIFICAL clutch assembly for 2009 spyder gs?

Does anyone know where I can get this part in a aftermarket version?
Considering the age and low numbers of Spyders that would have the clutch go bad, I really doubt that anyone would bother to make an aftermarket version. You might not even be able to get a rebuilt one. Your best bet is probably a motorcycle salvage business. There should be plenty of low mileage ones. Do you know if the clutch from a later version will fit your 09? If not, you may have trouble finding an OEM one.

What part of the centrifugal assembly do you need? All 7 parts are available as a kit for 317.99 usd from cheapcycleparts.com. But the 7 parts that make up that assembly are available individually for various prices. Do need all new parts?

I do not recall anyone having posted needing to repair the centrifugal assembly before. Any idea what happened.

Plates and discs

I know you can get plates and discs but the other parts will be as stated above... used or other oem suppliers....

There was some talk about stronger clutch parts...

But this is from about nine years ago: when aerocharger was offering a turbo kit for the GS.
Docdoru modified his; but I haven't seen him on here in years.
(At least not since he bought his other reverse trike...)
If you can get in touch with Lamont: he might know what Doc used, and where he got it.
