• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

After the Dragon...

First of all, what a weekend! It was great to meet so many of you in person, finally and to really get my first taste of what the community surrounding the Spyder is all about. Thanks again to Lamont and BRP and everyone who made it such a great experience.

I have about twenty gigs worth of video and pictures to sort through, which will take a week or so, but I put together this quick one for a "teaser".

Looked like a great test for rain gear. What were you using and did it keep you dry? Stage 3 of your video may have required scuba gear to keep dry. :yikes:

I have to agree... The rYde going and coming back to the Dragon from Maggie Valley was a nice "warm up"... even going to Lamont's BBQ from MV was a great way to feel what we were up for!:doorag:

The Spyder sure handles great in the rain and I think we all got to put it to the test at least once or twice during the event.

Thanks for checking it out, everyone!

Y Rider - uh...none, sadly, except for my Can-Am GTX nylon jacket. It kept my torso dry, but everything else was soaked to the bone. I didn't pack any rain gear for that ride, so I just had to ride it out, haha. I'm not very smart sometimes. :joke:

Pack - yep, that was on purpose. My dirty little secret is that I pulled over there too a minute later, but only to tell the camera car that I was going to go through Bryson City on the way back. We pulled off again and left all the two wheelers behind.

Bull - you were right, the journey there was a blast in itself!

Jedd - lol, it's still in tact, but I'll see what I can do this week. Maybe post some pics...

Always pack rain gear you never know when you'll need it. Saved my bacon more than once Vic looked great would like to see more.

You'd think I'd know better by now, but I'm always running off without it. Doesn't make sense, with all that trunk space, haha.

AWESOME taste of whats to come !!:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:
I am waiting for more:popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:

Great video, thanks for posting it and I look forward to seeing more. It was good to finally get to meet you in person as well. :2thumbs:

Do you have a link to the pics on Flickr? When I go out there and type in Can-Am Spyder in the search it returns 4,253 results. :shocked:
