• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

After-market Exhaust on 2013 Models

One if our Girls on Spyders members asked if the Yoshimura R77 would work on a 2013 ST Limited. She wants a throatier, louder sound than the Akrapovic & saw a pic of the pipe I'm about to install.

Anyone know about that or what challenges she may face with *any* aftermarket exhaust on that Spyder? :dontknow:

The problem will be the cat on the ST is the same as the RT so that pipe won't fit unless they have built one for the Rt/ST. I'm not sure if they have or not but for sure your pipe would not work on her Spyder. The elbow comes out at a 90 degree on yours and on all 2013's now it comes out around 60 degrees (just guessing).

Thank you! I'll just copy your answer word-for-word for her.

Another thing to note is that the Yoshi pipe is a pretty quiet pipe relatively speaking... And the ST cat is separate from the exhaust pipe (unlike on your RS) so the sound will be even more muted by the cat.

Might need a "free flowing cat" such as this one: http://www.spyder1attitude.com/cat-bypass.html which I confirmed works on a 2013 ST.

This might start down a long line of needed mods concerning fueling etc as it seems the ST's run even more lean than the prior years.

I have a flea-bay purchase coming my way, supposedly for a 2013 rs. From the pics it appears to be set up the same as my 2012 rt-s. I am optimistic, but a little work won't bother me. I have heard good things about the Yoshi pipes.
