• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Aerostich Very Boring Rally

Is anyone going to the Very Boring Rally at Aerostich in Duluth, MN this weekend (8/22-25)?? http://www.boringrally.com/

This is the 25th anniversary of the Aerostich Roadcrafter suit. I went to the 20th Anniv (first) Very Boring Rally in Aug 03, and it was lots of fun, with many eccentric / eclectic riders (I thought so anyway).

I need to be at a meeting in New Prague, MN (south of MPLS) next Thursday, so I am riding out from Pittsburgh on my Spyder, departing on Wed. I have a reservation on the ferry which goes from Ludington, MI to Manitowoc, WI on Wed evening, about 8PM. I need to make another hundred or more miles before stopping for the night. Thurs AM I'll motor to New Prague, and leave there sometime Friday (noon) for Duluth and the rally site.

I will likely leave Duluth Sat afternoon, via Rt 2, and home to PGH.

The SS Badger has been damaged in the stern, and will be out of service indefinitely. They said on the news last night for people with reservations to contact them to arrange a refund. You may be able to get reservations on the Lake Express (Muskegon to Milwaukee). Looks like you will have to adjust your plans, but better now than upon arrival in Ludington.
