• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Adjusting front Rally shocks

When I picked up my Rally I had the dealer increase the rear shock preload for a heavier rider such as myself (275lbs). The manual provides some guidance for the rear shock adjustments. I do with it was a weight based table like my Buell's and BMW's used to have as the Can-Am manual is vague.

The Ryker manual has no guidance on where to set the Rally front shocks. Mine are set to "3" which is where they all seem to be set when picked up. Has anyone figured out what the recommended settings are for them?

Mine were set to 3 from the factory. Over rougher pavement terrain I found the front to be "bouncy" which I attributed to bottoming out. I increased the pre-load to 4 and though it was a little too much so I backed off to somewhere around 3.5-4.

The rear, I have the dial set on 1 and I increased the pre-load quite a bit. I'm at about 5/8" from the snap ring. This setting works pretty well. Little harsh on the deep holes but better on the other bumps.

I'm about 195-200lbs with gear.
