• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The lure of returning to 2 wheels overcame me and I have traded in the RS for an HD Softail Slim. I truly wish I had the capital and garage space to keep both as the Spyder will be missed. My Spyder was a joy to own and kept me riding when medical problems had made 2 wheels unsafe. My RS was one of the most reliable vehicles I have owned as it did not suffer a hiccup in the two years I owned it. Thanks to BajaRon's sway bar and the Fox shocks I added it handled like a dream and I loved the confidence the 3 wheel design added when riding 2 up. Alas, the feel of a 2 wheeler leaning into turns was a joy I was not ready to give up, perhaps as I get older I'll be returning to a Spyder (or if I hit the Powerball in the interim). For now thanks to everyone on this outstanding site. The advice given here (and the camaraderie) adds exponentially to the Spyder experience. Thank you,
Steve Glynn

Well as much as we hate to lose any Riders, we wish you good luck and you are certainly still welcome on this board even though you are Spyderless.

Enjoy your new ride and be safe out there.

Sorry to see you go, but glad that you leave a happy camper. Your still family, so come back around and visit.

Two to three and back again. Dosen't matter as long as you are riding. Be safe and keep the shinny side up and the rubber side down:ohyea:

As others have said keep in contact as not all members have Spyders.

Steve - good riding to you! I was bitten with the same bug, and lack of a decent close dealer..... keep the round side down!
