dI am literally lost when driving without a compass. I just like to know what direction I am heading when I take that left turn on the country road I don't recognize. I don't always have the GPS plugged in so I looked for a compass that would mount easily. At the same time we all know that the ambient air temp gauge on the RT seems to have the sending unit placed too close to the engine resulting in a reading in the 100's when it is about ten degrees cooler.
So I found an inexpensive gauge set at Auto Zone and installed it. Just has to replace one of the screws in the dash with one that is slightly longer and drill a hole through the gauge mount to secure it. Matches up well with the dash.
