I think this is true for motorcycles. I had to bring my Spyder RT to the shop almost two weeks ago, and I am still waiting for it. Took over a week before they could look at it, and now am awaiting a part. I have another bike, a fun little Royal Enfield Hunter 350, but I find that I really miss riding the Spyder. There is no doubt in my mind that if I had to get down to one bike, it would be the Spyder. I think I normally take it for granted that it will be there waiting for me to ride anytime that I feel like doing it, but now I feel at a loss. Neither the Hunter, nor my Mini Cooper convertible can take its place. I never felt that way about most other bikes that I have owned as long as I had something else to ride.
