? about reply to post

I tried to reply to a post today and a warning comes up that the reply is too short(by 2 letters) I added a few letters but the warning was still there. I have had this happen a few times before. What is strange is posted a reply on another post a while ago that was shorter, but it worked fine. What am I doing wrong?
