• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

First I shut the Spyder off, took out the key, came in the house and the radio turned on. Second some kind of multi colored lines appaered in columns (out of no where). Third with the Spyder running the screen went to the one telling me to read the card or hit the mode button. I did and it was fine after that. Is it dealer time?

If it happens again it sure is. This may not have left a trace, but if you are at the dealer, tell them and let them peek at the diagnostics. If there is no trace, it wll be harder to track.

Sound like something's not wright . Probably won't show a code but I would have the dealer have a look.:dontknow:

It a close encounter of the third kind. do,de,dododo. Did you see any bright lights in the sky. :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

I had exactly the same thing happen, I was about 100 feet away and the radio came on all by it self, with no key in the ignition! I had the lines show up on the screen, the startup message and strange messages appear and then a bit later it went into limp mode off and on. Then it would not start for a while before suddenly clearing up. I ran back to the dealer slowly and they found a loose ground cable (I had about 75 miles on the bike by then. It never has done this again so I believe they knew what they were doing with the repair.

Thanks everyone, as soon as I can get to the dealer, it is going in.

Going into dealer on Thursday afternoon. Going to miss a huge ride scheduled for Sat unless they find something easy and quickly.

Dealer found a few things on the buds, but nothing related to the issue. Of course no one can replicate the problem(s). Rode nice with no codes or funky screens on the hour ride home - sunny and 80 degrees, Life is tough..

You may have been pushing the mode button when you turned the key off. That would make the radio come back on.
