• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A little chaffing after 30,000 miles

I changed my plugs and decided to give the Spyder a look to see if there were any issues I needed to deal with before my trip out west.

I noticed my radiator hose had the beginning of a hole wearing through the top. One of the connectors has been rubbing on it for some time now. I put a little piece of hose over the connector to protect it from rubbing any more. Next time I flush the radiator I'll replace that hose and cut it a little shorter.

The hole is just to the right of my finger.

This was my temp fix.

I also noticed one of my cables was getting a little wear.

I put a piece of hose on it too.

All in all it looks pretty darn good for as hard as I ride it and the conditions I've ridden in. I think I'm ready to roll. :doorag:

If that's all you found in 30,000 miles, the Spyder is an awesome machine! I have looked at mine the best I can and all looks well. No leaks, coolant up, new oil change, runs like a sewing machine, so looks like we are good to go! 8 days and a wake-up.

I cable tied most of my cables but will check on the radiator one. Great practice to look it over and check for problems when its opend up.
