• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A few of my toys

That recumbent looks like a Greenspeed. I owned the very first Greenspeed that Ian shipped to the US. Loved that trike - never should have sold it to get more room in my garage.

Been a fan of "tadpole" trikes ever since. I have built two offroad recumbent tadpoles and the two Yamaha TW conversion tadpoles since then.

I can't take credit for originating the term "tadpole trike". It is commonly used in the recumbent bicycle/tricycle world. I have noticed that some in the motorcycle world are refering to this type of configuration as "reverse trikes", but who's to say that the double rear wheel isn't actually the reverse (thinking anyway). ;D

I have to admit I've used the term "reverse trike" on this forum just to go along with that apparent custom, but I prefer tadpole as the better description. Welcome aboard Scotty!
