• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A Few F3 Farkles

Had the chance to install a few items on the F3 today - a Nelson Rigg CL-1045 tank bag and a Butler mug. A few more things to install...

By the way, with the seat removed, the rectangular tube in the center of the picture below is an easy place for things like, say a pocket knife, to fall down into! [emoji15] It wouldn't hurt to cover that thing up when you take the seat off!

You call that a mug..!! ??

I have trash cans smaller than that...:roflblack::roflblack: looks good need that extra storage on the F3 and with that cup holder you can refuel from a moving tanker, no need for stops...:roflblack::roflblack: congrats..!!

@BeRight - that's ram mount for my phone. I plan to mount a Garmin GPS at the center of the bars, similar to the RT location.

@Yazz - the tank bag came with three straps - two with a loop at one end and a hook at the other, and one long one with a hook at each end. The nominal installation is to wrap the long strap around the bike's tree and pick up the front attach points with each hook and run the loop end straps around the frame and hook them to the back of the bag. I switched the installation and ran the long strap under the back end of the black plastic tank cover and picked up the back two hook attach points. The two loop straps wrapped around the back end of the dash mount arches and hooked up the forward attach points. I had to take the seat off and remove the 2 bolts at the back of the tank cover plastic in order to lift it up enough to run the long strap underneath it.

I like the look, but have always hated the damage they do to the bikes finish, just using a backpack these days.
