• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking for likes and dislikes from 622owners and opinions of the new freedom trailer, gonna buy one or other in may as my 1yr bike farkel, already getting my camping gear together, to downsize as much as i care to ruff. Thanks yall :bbq:

The freedom trailers are not out at dealers yet so it may be hard to compare them to the 622's. I would bet that in a month or so we will be able to compare them properly.

Freedom trailer

Saw it at the IMS Long Beach. Flimsy and with one lid door, hard to stow gear. We will keep the 622, thanks! Smaller, too.

It comes in black for a bunch of money and in a couple of colors for a whole bunch more money. If I remember correctly it is about 570 liters versus 622 liters on the old RT622. The lid looked really flimsy.

Along the same vein, Joe would you be so good to post your wheel bearing maintenance schedule for your 622. And Murphy Brown, you are another high milage trailer tower. Your wisdom would be appreciated also. I take it from previous comments made in other threads that the service intervals suggested by BRP is not adequate to ward off evil spirits and unscheduled repairs. Lamont, as always you wisdom would also be appreciated. Thank you all in advance

Al, the published service schedule is adequate, I was way over on miles. I now have a sheet taped inside the rear lid of the trailer that I record mileage on.

I am fortunate enough to have a brother in law that lives next door to me and he likes to drink my whiskey, so every summer he takes my trailer and repacks the bearings completely, (he is an old school mechanic and has to do every thing by hand), that is my trailer schedule.

If you want to supply him with good whiskey, i will loan him to you. :roflblack::roflblack:

Yep follow the manual. I am not mechanical so I pay a great mechanic in our area (no knowledge on Spyders...so don't use him for anything on the Spyder)...to do that type of maintenance. I am going to "steal" Ann's record keeping method.
