5k today!!!

Finally well enough to get back on the bike (blood clot in my leg) and turned over 5k this morning!!! Woot!!!

Blood clots

:yes:Glad your back on the :spyder2:. Went through the blood clot problem twice. Best advice from doc. Wear compression stocking when riding any distance. They do make a difference, minimal swelling in that leg after a long ride. Now keep your INR readings in check. :joke:

Thanks guys!!! Pain is gone in leg now, but doc is keeping me on the thinners for 6 months. Hope I never have to do that again, especially the shots twice a day in the stomach for 2 weeks, that sucked!!!! Especially on the last day had an allergic reaction!!! Talk about itchy!!!!

Glad that you are better. I had a blood clot behind my knee 11 yrs ago so I know what you went through and you are right the stomach shots suck twice a day:yikes::yikes:
