• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Picked up my RT yesterday,repairs made after slight rear end collision,only thing damaged was the rear fender and custom chrome mud flap.After talking to the mechanic at the dealership he told me this was the 3rd can am he has repaired this year with rear end damage.Got me thinking its time to install more lighting in the rear.Read some previous posts and I am asking which is better,custom dynamics 3rd brake light or tricled's light bar.Custom dynamics light is twice the price of tricled but looks brighter.Which offers easier installation or are they the same,hope to get something done soon so I don't have to worry about getting whacked in the rear again.Thanks for your opinions in advance.

Why not just get them both and mount them; then you'll have a 3rd & 4th brake lights, truely unique!!!!
 
Custom Dynamics

Their High Mount Brake Light is one of the early farkels I added to the :spyder2:. Yes it's more expensive but----------- it looks like a factory light, it mounts up high on the trunk, it is really BRIGHT.nojoke Having both companies lights on the trunk is good also.

Personally, I REALLY like the look of the Custom Dynamics light, it looks like it's factory. It's very bright, and with a flasher module added it really grabs people's attention (assuming they're not staring at the phone in their lap).

Installation would likely be about the same either way. Certainly not difficult, just takes a bit of time and care.

I use this flasher on everything I own. Tiny, and programmable to do whatever type and style of flashing you want. And it's a deal, $20. I've had several of my neighbors see it and stop me to ask about it.

CD was the first farkle put on all my RT's. Drove them off the lot with the brake light installed. No issues or problems in 90,000 combined miles on the road with the brake lights. :yes:
