2022 Spyder S2S configuration changes - Canada only? Or everywhere??

I’m new to this site and last week I ordered a 2022 RT-L after recently selling my 2015 BMW K1600 GTL. Recently passed 78 years of “experience” and thought it prudent to get something more stable at slow speeds. I had been looking at a RT-L or a S2S the last few months when I recently noticed a change in what came standard on the S2S. It had been advertised with heated comfort seats and drivers backrest, but now they are listed as extra cost options. Amazingly the list price on the S2S stayed the same!! My salesperson said it was all due to a parts availability problem???
Not sure if this is a Canada only change?

My 22 S2S came without a driver's backrest, and repeated calls to BRP customer "service" gets me nowhere. They said it is their right to change the accessories package. Mine did come with a comfort seat though. So for the elevated price, I got a fancy paint job, comfort heated seats, and adjustable air wings. (Some extra badging and stitching on the seat too).

To be clear - I love my ride, and wouldn't change the fact I bought it.
