• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2021 RT - Where is the keyed power supply? Is it fused?

On the 2020 RT up there is a keyed power supply under the R/H front side panels as per LaMonster vid. I tried to take a feed up to my new sat nav. This feed appears to be dead, even with the key on. Is this feed fused and if so where is it located.
Thanks.
Alan.

Check the polarity! Many of these came with the positive and negative reversed. If that's the case, your nav definitely won't work.

I used that lead for my USB/voltmeter in the blank dash slot--works great and gives the bike voltage when nothing is plugged in and the accessory usb voltage being supplied when in use. The keyed power lead is fused (5 amp) on the right side (bike's) fuse panel. it will blow if you hook up the outlet/meter backwards and thats how I found it. :opps:

Fused supply.

Thanks for the replies. 5A fuse was blown and after replacement the polarity was checked and was reversed ie. black wire was positive. Power to sat nav now live.
Thanks,
Alan.
