• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2020 RT right saddle bag not opening - cable rusted!

I have had issues with my saddle bag latches snapping off. Last year the right side snapped off and was replaced under warranty. Earlier this year it was the left side, also replaced under warranty. Now my right side doesn't want to open.
After reading Joel the Biker's post about his latch assembly rusting I took my right side apart to see if that's my issue also. Mine are rust free and move easy. Turns out the cable was rusted to the point that it came apart.
Will call my dealer tomorrow to have to have them set me a new cable. I will lube the heck out of it and hope that fixes the issue for awhile.

I think for the 2022 models they went to a stainless steel cable. You might ask your dealer if the newer cable will fit your 2020 I think it will but I haven’t tried it myself yet.
