2020 3.5 audio jack in cubby box..

i cant get sound from the 3.5 mm audio jack. front cubby , hooked a new mp3 player to it.. i have it set to AUX. but nothing,, does the player need to be hooked up via usb also.. should not be that hard to play music thru the front jack, my new player is also bluetooth, no luck there,, im computer savy, but im missing something i guess.. thanks.. just got rid of my 1500 vulcan,, for this.. and i love it..

This is kindda stupid, but, is the sound output on speakersof spyder..... not on helmet speakers?
Check configuration menu.

not stupid question.. , how do i change the output to 3.55 mm jack.. im missing something simple i know it... been thru the menu's. im missing something, simple, i got the no helmit connected, in AUX options. so i need to change it ? i dont see where to change it.

I just remembered.... I have a 2019 F3L.... when I first got my Spyder, I tried hooking up my IPOD to the 3.5 input and could not get it to work. I now have my XM radio input to the 3.5..... it works fine. It must be the music format from the IPOD. Just my experience.

Don’t forget double check the device: volume up; headphone jack works, & connector is fully in. some cases do get in the way:sour:

i had speakers set to helmet by mistake, its working now,,, figured it out.. something simple, but stupid on my part.. im trying to get used to all the settings and menu's..
