• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2015 Spyder RTS

My friends tell me to leave brights on during all daylight riding.
Reason being they can not (see) me in rearview mirror.
The dim lights are shuttered mechanically and privide minimum coverage.

Also oncoming traffic can not see the lights in daytime

So my advice is run the brights & fogs if you have them during daytime

Night time riding does not seem bad to me
There are adjustments that can be made also

I agree, you should ride with your brights on at all times unless it is dark and there is traffic in front of you. The directions for re-aiming the headlights can be found in your owner's manual - it is pretty simple.

In Washington state, it is the law to ride with brights on during the day. Just learned that in a endorsement class.

Re-adjust...

alignment of the headlights is in the manual..set the spyder 35' away from a wall/garage door etc level ground. Have equal to your wieght on the unit and adjust to the mark on the wall..don't remember that one but think it is 27" or so. Remember when ryding double the lights will shine higher. Daytime doesn't matter as long as they are on...
