• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi guys, went to get on the bike to take it to storage for the winter. It is a 2015 RSS with 12,500 miles on it. It did not want to start at first. Finally got it to start and was letting it idle when it died. Took several attempts but got it restarted and put some rev to it to keeping going. Engine light came on with code P0107. The idle was very inconsistent. The bike had set for a month after we had gotten back from a 1500 mile trip. Bike has always run great. I pulled off the map senor and cleaned contacts to no avail. Where would you guys start? What else should I check into.
Thanks
Shannon

Double check clean tight battery terminals , good load testing of battery. According to spyder codes Code is: manifold air pressure low ;Damaged sensor or ECM pins, ECM supply voltage

Check out these threads - they may be a bit old, but the codes haven't changed that much!

So, looking at what they say, I reckon it could be the MAP sensor itself, its' connections, loose/broken/eaten by rodents wiring, or as a last wild shot in the dark, possibly even just a poor/weak battery.... and you did say it's been sitting for a while, so any of those could be on the cards!

Thanks guys, I will check into these. The battery was brand new mid season this year. I did the connections off and retighten them just to make sure there was good contact. Seemed to have plenty of cranking power.
