2014 or 2015

I know this has been asked before, but I can not find thread. what is the difference's between the 14 &15 RT.limited's, other than 2000 dollars now. Thanks.

Paint color

Seems the 2015's have new paint colors. Example: New Red that is awesome! The bike itself appears the same: 2014/2015. Just like end of year sale on cars - end of year sale on Spyders as well. Deals can be found. Good luck in your hunt.

It sounds like you have been answered. It's the money and the colors. A few 2014's around if color is not a major thing for you. Some good deals to be had though.

and the '14's are getting scarce.

I was quoted a price of 21K for a new 2014 RTS back in October when my wife was looking. She said no, a better deal will come along in the spring. Two weeks ago, the best I could find was 22.5K for the same RTS.

She ended up buying a used 2014 RTS and got a far better deal.

Really the color change was a high factor for me going with a 2015 instead of a 2014. I fell in love with the Red Intense Pearl color when I saw it in person. Also had several other factors in my decision, like the 1330 engine and the 6 speed trans and lower up keep costs over the 998 engine. Still waiting for my new ride to arrive.

Picked up my 2014 RT-S in early February. $6000 off the MSRP. Plus they threw in some other goodies.

Unless you absolutely mist have one of the nice new 2015 colors, I second Paladin's idea. Shop for a good deal on a 2014. I saved a bundle on an end of year RT-S.

The 14s also have the 1330/6speed. 2013 was the last year of 990/5 in the RT

2014s are getting very scarce.Color selection is limited. Preseason warranty promotions on 2015s will be ending by 4/30/15. Time to get off the fence, or let this riding season go by.
