• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2014 Audio Question

The BRP system is manufactured by Sena.
The dongle is an SM 10.
The headsets are SMH 10.
finless on this site knows more about getting the Sena branded SM 10 dongle connected to the Spyder audio. There is a proprietary cable to connect the dongle to the Spyder. This will save you a few dollars.
I chose to get the BRP components installed from the dealer when I made the deal on the new Spyder.
I am purchasing a Sena SR 10 dongle to connect a handheld CB to Bluetooth system.
At first I was apprehensive switching from a wired intercom to the new Bluetooth systems. Especially when I got a look at the 200 page instruction book for the headsets.
It turns out there are only 10 pages of instructions. The rest is legal boilerplate, with all of it copied in a bunch of languages.
It's been less than a week, but so far I'm liking the Bluetooth.
