• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Bummer..!!

Be glad it's in accessable place. Did many on the older wings where the stator was in the back of the engine and you had to remove the engine to get to it. Yours look pretty much the same as the ones starting to go. Glad they got you fixed up and back on the road...warranties come in great cause on a wing its an 8 hour job... really nice that they are going for the external alternators...

Sorry you had this trouble. About once a year someone reports a crispy stator, same place it seems like too. I hope this is the only trouble you have.

IMHO you should have had it fixed in a week not a month. Any idea why it took the dealer so long to fix?
